Tate's Smart Start

Tate’s Smart Start is a closing credit I offer to help my clients lower their closing costs.* It’s my way of helping buyers start ahead when purchasing a home.

Here’s how it works:

  • The credit amount is equal to your first-year home insurance premium.
  • I offer the credit to all of my clients purchasing a home with me, as long as approval is received from your lender and my broker.
  • The amount is capped at 1% of the sales price of the home being purchased.

    🏡 Example: Let’s say you’re purchasing a $500,000 home, and your annual home insurance premium is $3,000. With Tate’s Smart Start, you’d receive a $3,000 closing credit (capped at $5,000 in this case), pending approval from your lender and my broker.

Any credit is deducted from broker-paid compensation and must be approved by both the lender and broker. Approval is given on a case-by-case basis.
